Cowboy Days Rodeo

This Labor Day, the boys got to be in the rodeo here in Evanston. Grandma and Grandpa Low came up here to watch. They had to wait for about half of the rodeo before it was their event, Muttin Bustin. They were pumped up. Jackson was the first rider. He fell right off and hopped back up with a huge smile on his face. Mayson rode a little later, but, did good. His Dad had told him that he had better hold on for a long time because he had to pay $20 for him to ride. Mayson was not letting go for anything. His sheep took about 2 steps then fell down he hung on, the sheep tried to get up, but Mayson was not letting go of him. He held that sheep down for quite a while, then they finally told him he could let go. He had a score of 78. The highest until about the second to last kid. That kid got a 79. So Mayson ended up getting second place. I had let him have a mowhawk for a day, kinda funny to see a cowboy with a mowhawk. It got buzzed off the next day. It was a fun day, but we all came home from the rodeo, tired from the sun. Thanks for coming up Mom and Dad!

Here is my little man with a cheeseburger at the Cowboy days rodeo. I absolutely love this picture of my Jackson.

The boys were pretty pumped to have a trophy and a patch. Mayson was none too thrilled to have his picture taken. All he wanted was a funnel cake.

Ohhh man was Jackson proud of that trophy and patch. The patch had to go on his backpack of course.

This picture was before the rodeo started. I just thought he was too cute in his 10 gallon hat climbing the fence, with a John Deere tractor in the background.

One more picture of my Muttin Busters after 2 good rides.
