Moms and Muffins

On February 10th, Maysons, school hosted "Moms and Muffins" It was a fun morning before school. We got there, had some breakfast, made this scrapbook page, read a book and then sent the kids to their classes. Mayson had fun, and Jackson thought he was awsome being at school with his big bro, with all of the big kids. I felt badly leaving, not because Mayson was upset or anything, but all of the other moms were crying...IDK why. I was just like see ya later have a good day and they were all clingy and booby. I wondered if I should be crying, but what the heck for?

Our Big Adventure To Pinedale

Well, Ryans work found them a condo to stay in while they are working instead of the beloved Big Piney Motel which has been Ryans home away from home for quite sometime. He was very excited about the new place and invited the boys and I to go up and stay with him this weekend. We drove up Friday after Mayson got off of the bus. It's about a 3hr. drive. We were about 25 miles from Pinedale and Jackson said it was really far away and wanted to turn around and drive back home. I tried to explain that we would be to daddys place in a few minutes...if we turned around we had a few more hours to endure. It didn't quite compute in the mind of my precious 3 yr. old, but he was happy when we got there and got out of the car. Jackson also knows that normally, Ryan stays at a motel, trying to explain that we were not in a hotel was a fun one to explain also, eventually, we all just called in a hotel. He won! Anyhow, it was fun to see the new place, it's really nice, needs a few homey touches, but it is 300% step up from the motel.
The next day, we went to the rec. center there. It was AWSOME! They have an indoor pool that is almost identical to the Logan aquatic center. This one had a jacuzzi and a lazy river too. The boys had a ball. They loved the slide. They let me take Jackson down in my lap, so he was PUMPED! Anyway, we spent a little time with our daddy after work fri. and sat. we saw him a little longer, he was home a lot earlier than on fri.
We were going to wake up and be home by 1:00 for church, I had to teach sunbeams...Well, Mayson, woke up burning up and crying because he felt awful. I put him in the tub, gave him some tylenol, he threw up a few times and has been sleeping pretty much all day today. I really hope Jackson doesn't get it! Needless to say, no sunbeams for me today. I called my FAVORITE neighbor Heather, she said she would teach for me. She is my hero! Except for the sickies, it was a fun little get away! I forgot to mention the rock climbing wall at the rec. center. It was awsome, even Jackson got to climb, they have a tiny harness for the little guys. Mayson was up the wall and down before I could get the camera out, but I managed to get a few pics of the little man.

A Day In Freedom

This Presidents day, Mayson didn't have school, and we needed something to do so, we went to Freedom to visit out friends. Eric, Brandy, Kaiden, Kiera, and Kelsey Heiner. They are some of our best friends from Star Valley. We have missed them and it was so fun for the boys to play together. You would never guess that Kaiden is 3 days OLDER than Mayson. I know he is a big boy, but I don't know where he got the height It was the first time for us to see baby Kelsey. She is a doll! Stinky, but still a doll. The kids played out in the snow for a while, rode Kaidens snowmobile, then came in a played games and trucks. It was a fun day. Wish we could get together with our old friends way more often.

Happy Valentines Day

Another v-day has come and gone. The boys were excited about their chocolates for about 2 minutes. We went swimming up at the rec. center today, it was fun, some of Maysons' little friends were there.

Unfortunately, Jackson had some type of an accident and ended up with a peg leg and a crutch. All home made of course. He comes up with some pretty good stuff!

We also bought a file cabinet today. What a great toy...a box. Daddy cut them a door, they colored it with markers and have played with it all day. It is a house and if you turn it right, you can park all of your trucks in the garage. I wish I was that easily entertained!

We Actually Made It 10 Years

On February 12th we had our 10 yr. anniversary.

There have been several times, some recent some not so recent that I didn't think this day would ever happen. We have been married for 10 years now. Ryan and I went and spent a fun night in Wendover. We got a room with a jacuzzi tub, so I was in heaven! It did end up leaking on the people in the room below us, but we had nothing to do with that . LOL We both had such a great time. Thanks to Ryans parents for watching the little monsters so we could go. Cleve and Annie, you are my heros! We decided on the way there that we love eachother way more now than we did 10 years ago. Both of us cannot imagine how much our love will grow over the next however many years. We want to be the old couple that goes everywhere together and holds hands the whole time. Thanks for the fun trip Ry, I love ya more than ever !!

What a boring weekend!

Not much going on this weekend. Mayson went to Salt Lake with a buddy, so Jackson and I had to find something to do. We ended up at the region wrestling tourn. in Randolph. Jackson got to run and play with his cousins, so he had a ball.

I put this picture of Jackson up just because it has a funny story. This was right before he got knocked down, face first by a wave. It was so funny. He would not go out in the water after that. Maybe this weekend was so boring because last weekend was so much fun.

Mayson gave a scripture and a talk in primary today. He did a very good job. His talk was about how he came to earth to be with his family. It was cute to hear him talk about his little brother. He has come a long way, he used to not even stand up there to give a talk or anything, but I guess he has come out of his shell a lot. I think Kindergarten has a lot to do with that. This picture of Mayson is from legoland where he got a "real drivers license" What a stud!!

Trip to California

Well, we went to San Diego over the weekend. Grandpa Mohrlock had a stroke, so Mom and I and the boys drove down on Thursday. It was a long ride, but we made it. Mayson stayed up until Barstow. I could not believe it. Jackson didn't fall asleep much before Barstow. They were so excited!
Grandpa is doing very well! He has very little paralysis. He gets better and better everyday.
We spent a lot of time at the beack, that was the favorite. We also got treated to a super fun day at Legoland. Uncle Rick took the boys and I. It was great fun and the boys had a ball.
